I was asked by a friend to donate a bowl or vase to a silent/on-line auction for research into the rare genetic disorder known as Louie's Hewey 1 occuring in Virgina in January 2024.  I told my friends they could design the bowl.  This began as a Tom Lohman design which they modified.  This bowl contains 2,101 individual pieces of wood.  The wood is Maple, Purpleheart, and Wenge.  The bowl is about 12.25" in diameter, 5.5" tall and has a wall thickness of about 0.25"
