This Fruit/Salad bowl contains 241 individual pieces of wood.  The walnut was milled about 100 years ago.  I retrieved this walnut from my mother-in-law's pole barn in Arkansas.  The base is Zebrawood and there is a Zebrawood band bordered by Curly Maple.  This bowl is finished with three coats of high gloss Tung Oil.
